| This responsibility is within the North American Two Plant Division of a larger international Corporation. Responsibility will be for providing Financial Management Leadership/Oversight for the plants which are located in South Hill Va (as primary base) and the plant in Ensenada, Mexico; each with related staff functions in cash management, inventory controls, M/E closings, general ledger, budgeting,etc. This is a key high visibility responsibility, and reports directly to the Director of both locations. There will be occasional, but limited travel involved to Mexico. Relocation assistance is available.
We are Looking for an individual who has a degree in finance or related, has financial experience in manufacturing environments, previous finance management experience with multi locations (ideally) in career, experience with international companies/groups a plus, excellent computer skills, experience with ERP systems from financial standpoint, and understanding of accounting, budgeting, inventory mgmt. & internal control policies in previous financial management roles. Automotive company experience helpful, as is cross functional financial leadership experience .
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Oversight management of AP/AR/Costing/Treasury functions with both financial groups (S. Hill & Ensenada)
- Oversees month end closing process & inventory management at both locations
- Coordinates audit reviews with external auditors following physical inventory process & related to accounting and tax as needed
- Assists in direction of budgeting process & financial updates on monthly basis
- Responsible for generating financial reports following monthly close & on an ongoing basis which includes consolidation reporting
- Fixed asset ledgers & monthly ending transactions |
