| Immediately open position for an experienced Plant Purchasing Manager to provide leadership within a plant purchasing responsibility. Will guide the Purchasing efforts regarding strategic planning, forecasting, & related systems operations, supplier development, monitoring supplier performance, cost reduction projects, long term supply agreements, improving lead times, and collaborating with product engineering on improved sourcing decisions for existing and new products. In addition, this individual will directly supervise, develop and set objectives for the purchasing employees within the group. Position reports directly to the Division President.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 -5 years of progressive responsibility for direct material purchasing within a manufacturing environment. The preferred candidate should have direct manufacturing related industry experience in materials purchasing with extensive ERP experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools. |
