| The Controls Engineer promotes PLC design, programming, and systems integration; as well as functioning as project technical lead with responsibilities for related project management activities specifically related to controls systems design, specifications, PLC programming applications, simulation and testing, and start-up assistance.
Position requires manufacturing experience in PLC logics and applications such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Omron, HMI or SCADA programming and configuration along with their related software packages. Also useful will be backgrounds in Panel design and layout, bill of materials, and wiring schematic capabilities as well as experience reading and red-lining PI&D drawings.
A BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering is desired with 5 or more years experience in a similar position, and or Experience that is closely related to this job description will also certainly be considered. Again,manufacturing is key.
