| We are looking for a textile engineer who has a feel for fashion and innovation. He/She needs to have extensive understanding of different types of yarns, fibers, knitting machines, dyeing & finishing machineries and processes. He/She will head a product development team consisting of 5 to 6 designers and textile engineers. The job involves extensive travel, visiting trade fairs, meeting and interacting with customers, closely monitoring the market and fashion trends etc. The vision of the management of company is that 20 to 30% of the total production of knitted fabrics that they produce should fall into the category of value added or fashion knitted fabrics.
Work experience: Should have worked in product development division of a large knitted fabric company for 8-10 years.
It is a full time job. You could consider a 2-3 year engagement with the company.
Remuneration: perks include -accommodation + medical expense + to & fro travel expense from Home base to India for the family. Client seeking American or European Nationals please.
